Of late, Tabebuia Aurea  is planted on the Road sides. This has become a great attraction because of its blooms. The tree sheds most it leaves during blooming time and the whole tree is covered with trumpet shaped flowers. A tree of foreign descent and naturalised in our tropical climate. Of the 67 species of Tabebuia worldwide, Tabebuia Aurea  and Tabebuia Rosea are commonly found around us.
