Hirva Swapna tip of the day Amaryllis Lily is a flowering medicinal bulbous perrenial plant which origins from tropical South Africa. They bloom twice a year in varied colours as wells in multiple double petals during November and March- April in tropics. After season, the plant goes into dormancy in bulb form underneath. They bloom from long stalks with each stalk having two or upto 5 flowers that last long. They r minimum care plants that need well draining soil and around half day sun. They propogate by bulb multiplication and seeds and big well grown bulbs give blooms. While in dormancy, too much watering to the bulbs can rot it. Many remove the bulbs and store it to replant it just before season, but it is not absolutely necessary.
