Datura Stramonium/Metel also known as Devil’s trumpet, Indian thorn-apple  is one of the most poisonous and toxic short-lived annual shrub found in arid parts of the world from America, Europe, India, Afghanistan, etc. The flowers come in white, yellow and dark purple colours. Dark stemmed Datura are used widely for its medicinal use. In India is is revered religiously as well as used medicinally. Every part of the plant is poisonous. It is used widely in plant world as a ornamental plant as well as to make natural pesticide.
