Calotropis Gigantea..Mandar, Madar, Rui, Aak r local names…another of highly poisonous white milk oozing tropical plant which is revered traditionally as well as used medicinally extensively. It grows in our tropical arid conditions with zero maintenance up to a height of 4 meter tall. It comes in white and light purple shade with cluster of waxy flowers. One needs to be very careful handling this plant as its extract can cause cardiac arrest as well as blindness.
