Pheltaphorum pterocarpum…Copper Pod tree is used as Avenue or roadside trees in most urban spaces. This tree is  in full bloom during March to May and we see a carpet of their flowers fallen on the roads. Many people get the road sweepers to collect these fallen flowers in Gonis and put it in their flowering/fruiting pots directly or into their compost. Because of high content of Boron micronutrient in it, it makes the leaves, flowers and fruits to grow healthier, bigger and shinier.
