Salient features:
The Little Millet is called so bcos it is one of the smallest of millets in size. Though little in size, it is not “little” in nutrition as power packed in same.
It is a very ancient millet dated back to
thousands of years grown in Southern India and drought tolerant.
Water requirement for crop production is low so drought resistant and no pest attack.
Health benefits.. salient features:
a. Healing reproductive organs of both male and female
b. Wound healing
c. Slow release of glucose so used in vrat/fasting, marathons, long energy requirements activities
