*Ashwaganda* is a native drought tolerant herb found in India, Middle East and parts of Africa, used extensively in Ayurveda. It is named Ashwaganda because in Sanskrit “Ashwa” means horse and “Gandha” means smell. The roots of this herb has a distinct horse smell hence named Ashwaganda.
