In continuation of our natural pest management for plants, another very potent preparation is *Dashparni Ark*
*Dashparni* literally means …*Dash* means *Ten* and *Parni* means *Leaf* …*Ark* is *Extract*, in Sanskrit. It tackles sucking pests like aphids, mealybugs, borers, thrips, etc
*Formula for same in 200 litre drum*:
Water : 170 litres
Gomutra:20 litres
Cowdung: 2 kg
Garlic: 1 kg
Saunt pd : 200 gms
Green chillies:1kg
Haldi: 500 gm
Hing: 10 gms
Ginger: 500 gm
Neem leaves: 5 kg
Tabacco pd : 1kg
Select any Ten leaves from below lot: *Karanj, Castor, Seetaphal, Bel, Tulsi, Datura, Cassia, Lantana, Bang, Ber, Mango, Khadipatta, Marigold, Pomegranate, Kaner, Datura, Adrak leaves, Haldi leaves, Stinging Nettle, Hibiscus, Arjun, Papaya* or any other
plant leaves which cows and goats don’t eat.
Keep this solution in dark place for 40 days, covered in cloth. Stir it in sunrise and sunset clockwise direction. Can be used for 6 months …8 litre *Dashparni Ark* to be diluted in 200 litre water and sprayed in evening after sunset.
Spray it every fortnight to keep pests away. This formula can be reduced and made in small quantities for home garden use.
