*Successful seed saving techniques*
Three main factors for successful seed saving is
*Seeds have to be dry completely…otherwise will attract mold.*
*Seeds have to be in cool places away from direct sun/heat. Some seeds r ok to store in room temperature , some below 5 degrees in temperature ie., in fridges, etc. If seeds r to be stored for longer, they might need to be kept in freezing temperatures.*
*Seeds need to be kept away from humidity. Humidity promotes germination and keeping them away from it promotes dormancy and conservation of seeds.*
So first ensure seeds r devoid of moisture. Then store them in zip lock bags, vaccum induced bags, airtight jars and keep them in cool dry places away from moisture and humidity ie., fridge or freezer depending on how long u want to store it and the seed’s capacity to store. Each seed has different life expectancy..so an in-depth study of each seed needs to be done before storing.
Some can store for few months and some for years together.
