Oft repeated question by plant lovers is why is their plant not blooming/fruiting or infested.
Even if we give everything in right proportion like right pot mix, nutrition, water, etc…if the plant doesn’t get right amount of sun as per it’s requirement, it will not flower or fruit. Sun availability as per each plant’s requirement is the game changer. We need to understand each plant’s requirement and buy plants only if we r able to fulfill it. Whereas we buy plants because we like it without understanding its requirement and then wonder why it is not thriving. Before investing in any plant, make a list of what u can offer and checkout plants that fit into that category.
For eg, a person doesnot hv time to care for plants, he can go for plants that need zero maintenance plants like senseveria, cactus, Zee Zee plants.
People who have no direct sun to offer should go for shade loving plants
People who have atleast 3-4 hours of sun or more can invest in flowering varieties (again, each flowering variety has varying sun requirement)
An in-depth study before investing in plants can make ur garden thrive and plants happy.
If above factors r not taken into consideration, ur plants will be perpetually fighting infection bcos of low immunity.
