The palm sized fruits r from huge evergreen tropical trees and the fruit has the same structure of the regular jackfruit and can be opened up with bare hands as thin skin when ripened. The tree is used for pickling and as vegetable when raw and consumed raw when ripe. Other uses r timber and as medicine.
