Ans: Mildew
Mildew is a white living substance and its attack is called fungal infection. It is generally seen on plants in leaf, buds, stems and on fruits as well sometimes.
Mildew attack on plants is bcos of humid, damp moisture laden conditions around the plant. If there is poor air circulation that prevents moisture drying or evaporation and not enough sun or bright light, it can attract mildew.
Mildew can be controlled by removing infected parts, reducing moisture around the plants, improving light and airflow around infected plant.
Spraying baking soda, neem oil solution, etc weekly till the problem disappears all over the plant can stop this fungal conditions.
