Catharanthus Rosea, also known as Madagascar periwinkle, Sadaphuli is sun worshipper from Madagascar. Grows well in the sunniest spot in the house with full sun through the day. Water only when top soil is completely dry. It needs water, but well draining soil.
Two original shades of sadaphuli r pink (as shown above) and white shades which are very hardy, drought tolerant and propagate and multiply themselves in their surroundings over a period. Most other shades are hybrid varieties that generally die if exposed to rains or heavy watering. Zero maintenance plant that can be easily propogated by cuttings as well as it being self propagating.
