Common garden mistakes:
1. Overwatering: By doing so, we invite fungal diseases and root rot in plants. Follow the soil finger touch method to check if top soil is dry upto one inch below to water again thoroughly.
2. Underwatering:
Leaves will drop and fall. Esp during summer months, underwatering can put plant into stress and reduce yield/growth
Understand each plant’s watering requirements before buying eg Adeniums, thorny plants require less water, etc
3. Over manuring: Can lead to burning of plants
4. Under manuring: Stunt growth, yield
5. Ignoring pests: Prevention is best by regularly spraying natural pesticides on pest prone plants.
