Ans: Actually there is no such thing as indoor plant. Each plant needs varying degrees of sunlight outside in nature. In nature, some grow in full sun and some below other trees in filtered light with different intensity. The plants that grow below trees r generally brought home and kept in locations that get the same level of sunlight to help it make its food by way of photosynthesis.
So, the plants we label as indoor plants need to be placed in our homes after studying their sun requirement and free airflow movement around the plant. Also, when indoors, watering, manuring should be monitored with a potting mix that is suitable for the plant, as per study of each plant’s requirement.
An outdoor plant that needs full sun on it cannot be kept inside in filtered/zero sunlight…it will soon show signs of stress by shedding its leaves, pest attack due to weakened immunity, etc. We need to immediately take remedial action
