Ixora Coccinea plant is a medicinal ornamental plant, native to India and loves our warm tropical climate. Few hours of good sun in summer or preferably partial bright sun through the day is loved by it. It flourishes if planted in ground with minimum care and in pots, it prefers acidic soil which can be got by adding tea residue, banana peel water, veg residue water, etc. Potting mix can be of crushed dry leaves mixed with home made compost. Ixora comes in various shades, flower year round in bunches and last a very long time.
