leaf miner
Leaf hopper
Mealy bug
Nematodes
Ans: Leaf miner is cause by the larvae of tiny insects, often small yellow and black flies, moths, etc. They tunnel and feed within the green tissue between a leaf’s upper and lower surfaces creating visible winding pale trails as the eat into the leaf’s inner layers. After eating, they drop out and pupate on the leaf or soil.
Generally, leaf miners donot cause damage to the plant on the whole, unless severely infected. Spraying of natural pesticides like GGG, neem, gomutra solution can bring it under control.
