How to propogate Mint leaves:
Mint leaves r very easy to propogate and is perennial as well as invasive if put in ground level.
Ideal way to propogate in monsoon is buy mint from market or take cuttings wherever available and put stem cuttings directly in soil which has a mix of cocopeat and manure as well. Propogating it in monsoon is easiest. Rest of the year, u can remove all leaves from stem except 2-3 on top and let it root in water. After it roots, transfer it to soil and keep it in shade for few days till the root takes hold in soil. Then it can be moved to sunny spot and soil kept moist at all times. Pruning it regularly after it reaches beyond 2-3 inches gives us a regular year round supply of mint.
