Nerium Oleandar..commonly know as Kaner is another highly poisonous, evergreen tropical plant that survives on near zero maintenance in our country. They are full sun loving shrubs which bloom in bunches from spring to winter and come in original pink colour. Then due to hybridization, we now have various colours like white, yellow, orange, red colours which can be kept in pots as well. They can be propagated by cuttings and pruning will make the shrub bushy and yield more flowers at the tips.
