Ans: While snake is our friend and helps rid of many pests in open spaces like rats, rabbits, etc. Also we r not part of their food cycle so r not interested in us and slithered away when they spot us. They generally bite when they r stepped on or defensively
Plants with strong odour to deter them r lemon grass, mint, fennel, tulsi varieties oregano, garlic plant, lavender, marigold, rosemary as well as snake plants, thorny shrubs bcos of their sharp leaves and thorns. Strong smell of cinnamon, clove, hing, etc also keep them away..so a spray of above keeps them away
Plant plenty of the above plants in large numbers around open spaces to deter them.
