Sapindus Mukorossi…local names Reetha, Aritha, soapnut, washnut, etc. This variety is found in colder belts of India and China and Japan. The southern Indian variety *Sapindus trifoliatus* found in Tamilnadu, Kerala and Maharashtra. Both have saponin. The North Indian variety is bigger in size having better foam & south indian is smaller with better smell…both r equally effective.
