Succulents are found in dry aridand cool places of Africa, South America and some parts of Europe. They r known as camels of the plant world as they can store water in their various parts and use it in long dry spells.

Basic care is the potting mix must be absolutely well draining to avoid root rot. Another important factor is the soil should be bone dry before giving the next cycle of water.
Again, the cactus varieties of succulents r more tolerant of our tropical climate than the soft bodied water holding varieties. So before buying a succulent, we need to understand the variety and it’s particular needs and whether we can offer the same conditions before investing in the same
