In continuation with our series on easy to grow/care of indoor plants for beginners:
Syngonium also known as arrowhead vine originally from Mexico and Brazil now grown all over the world.
There r around 40-50 regular, coloured and variegated varieties to checkout from when u buy, for those who donot receive direct sunlight or hv bright indirect @home. This plant is especially for those who donot get direct sunlight and want good ground cover in shaded areas, foliage plants, decorative indoor plants as well as mossstick plants and wall climbers. It can be placed in bright indirect sunlight or in relatively low light conditions for a stretch of time. Edges burn in harsh and long hours sunlight.
A zero maintenance plant that keeps multiplying itself or can be propagated by cutting off stems with aerial roots on it. Watering can be done directly by sprinkling on leaves regularly and adding to well draining soil when totally dry .
Soil requirements is well draining and manure requirements is minimal and negligible, maybe twice a year.
