What do we add/can add to the water used for watering plants by dissolving/soaking overnight?
While we can add Banana Peels, onion peels, garlic peels, compost tea, diluted lychete water from compost, diluted natural manure viz cow dung, Vermicompost, mustard cake, groundnut cake, seaweed extract, Epsom salt inbetween regular watering schedules, salt and sugar is a no no to most common plants. Salt water can be added to plants that grow in the coastline like coconut trees, some varieties of palm and lime trees. Sugar/gud water can be added to orchids and bromalaids in very small quantities.
